Call for Abstracts
Alberta Dental Team Summit 2026
The Alberta Dental Association and their organizing partners invite students that are conducting clinical research in all dental and oral health disciplines to submit abstracts for poster presentations at the upcoming Alberta Dental Team Summit, taking place March 28 - 29, 2026 in Banff, Alberta.
We are seeking clinical research that could be immediately translated and directly applicable to dentists and oral healthcare teams in private practice. Research should offer insights, innovations, or tools that can be implemented in practice right away.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstract length: 300 words
- Focus: Clinical, practice-ready research with clear translation to patient care or oral healthcare team workflows. Only completed studies or studies with available results will be considered
- Deadline: Feb 24, 2026

Presenter Benefits
A total of five research projects will be selected for poster presentation at the Summit. Selected presenters will receive:
- One complimentary student registration to the Summit
- One night of accommodation at the Fairmont Banff Springs
Selected presenters must be available to present and showcase their posters and work for the entire scheduled presentation time.
- Friday, March 27: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, March 28: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Poster Details
Selected research will be shared as poster presentations during the Summit.
- Printing arrangements will be made by the Summit organizers.
- Posters may be sponsored to cover the costs of attendance and will be recognized on the printed posters.
- After your abstract is accepted, you will receive an email requesting your poster by March 10, 2026. Poster content will be printed exactly as submitted. Please ensure content is final and complete when submitting your poster.
Sponsorship Opportunity
We are seeking dental clinics interested in supporting the attendance costs of the selected researchers.
- Contribution: $1,000 per researcher (5 opportunities total)
- Sponsor recognition includes:
- Logo placement on the sponsored researcher's poster
- Recognition as a Research Sponsor on the Summit website

Please note that these emails are not from the Alberta Dental Association or any of our official partners.
To protect yourself:
- Only book accommodations using the official links provided on our website or in ADA communications sent from an @albertadentalassociation.ca email address.
- Do not click on suspicious links or provide credit card or personal details to anyone claiming to represent the Summit or the hotels.
- If you receive a suspicious email, please forward it to events@albertadentalassociation.ca so we can investigate.
