What is the Alberta Dental Team Summit 2025?
The Alberta Dental Team Summit is an annual event that brings together dental professionals from across Alberta to learn, connect, and recharge. The 2025 theme is Educate, Collaborate, and Rejuvenate, featuring workshops, keynotes, and social events designed to inspire and empower the dental community.

When and where will the summit take place?
The summit will be held from May 8-10, 2025, at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, set in the stunning Canadian Rockies.

Are there accommodations available at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel?
Yes, the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel offers a limited number of rooms at a special rate for summit attendees. Be sure to book your accommodation early to secure your stay at this iconic location.

Do I need a park pass to attend the summit?
Yes, everyone visiting Banff or Lake Louise needs to purchase a Park Pass for entry into the National Park. Buy yours online and save time and hassle when arriving at the park entrance.

Who should attend the summit?
The entire dental team! The summit is designed for all oral health professionals, including:

• Hygienists
• Dental Assistants
• Office Managers
• Students & New Graduates
• Practice Owners
• Industry and Suppliers

Do I need to be an ADA member to attend?
No, we welcome everyone from the dental community including those from outside of Alberta!

Will I receive a Continuing Education (CE) report when attending the summit?
Yes! The Summit attendees will receive an individualized report that details the sessions and length of time they were attended. This report will be available to attendees two weeks after the Summit. The maximum amount of possible CE credits you will receive is 13.

Please note, the hours issued for participation in this program does not imply acceptance by a provincial or state board of dentistry. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of their licensing board(s).

Registration and Costs

How do I register for the summit?
You can register by visiting our registration page on the website. Early bird pricing and group discounts are available.

What is included with my registration?
Your registration includes access to all sessions, workshops, and keynotes, as well as select meals, social events, and networking opportunities. Bonus! Those who register by March 10 will also receive an individualized DiSC profile as part of their registration.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made before April 10, 2025, are eligible for a full refund minus a $100 processing fee. After this date, refunds will not be issued.

Are there any discounts available?
Yes! We offer early bird pricing for those who register before March 10, 2025. Additionally, group discounts are available for teams or practices registering together. You must register your team together to be eligible for the discount.

Why are you charging for the event this year? Last year it was free for ADA members.
The ADA has listened to feedback from members who were concerned about their membership dues including attendance for a summit that they cannot attend. Charging for attendance helps offset costs and ensures we can continue delivering high-quality events in the future.

Planning your time in Banff

Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, parking is available at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for both day visitors and overnight guests for a fee.

What is the dress code for the summit?
Business casual is recommended for most sessions. For social events, feel free to embrace a relaxed or Rocky Mountain-inspired style. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as there will be sessions and activities throughout the venue.

What is the weather like in Banff in May?
In May, Banff experiences mild spring weather, with average temperatures ranging from 5°C to 15°C (41°F to 59°F). However, weather can be unpredictable in the mountains, so it's a good idea to bring layers and be prepared for cooler temperatures, especially in the evenings. We recommend packing a light jacket, comfortable shoes, and an umbrella, just in case!

Industry and Vendors

How can industry partners participate in the Summit?
There are two ways to participate:

1. Become a sponsor and bring your organization to the forefront and engage with attendees. Custom packages are available until April 10.
2. Be a Summit delegate. Industry partners are invited to join the fun and get the same all-access pass.

Will there be opportunities for networking?
Absolutely! The summit is designed to facilitate meaningful connections through social events, breakout sessions, and activations. Be at the forefront of these activities by becoming a sponsor.

Can I exhibit at the Alberta Dental Team Summit 2025?
The 2025 Summit will not feature a traditional exhibitor hall. Instead, vendors are invited to explore the premium engagement opportunities available through sponsorship. Sponsorship opportunities start at $1,500.

Can I speak at the Summit?
The speaker application process is now closed for 2025, but we encourage you to apply for future Summits. Session proposals can be sent to Carmen Sheridan, Education & Technology Strategy Director.
